We are here for you!

welcome

Active duty service members and their families are encouraged to sign up for family or couple level resilience training in readiness for whatever tomorrow may bring.  Our interactive resilience training is targeted to your goals and builds on your existing strengths.

We are open for in-person sessions, by appointment, and follow all current installation safety guidelines. Currently we ask that if you are not vaccinated please wear a mask during your session or call to schedule for an online appointment prior to your appointment date.

TeleFOCUS virtual sessions are also available and allow you to connect with your FOCUS Resilience Trainer online using Zoom. All you need is a webcam and internet connected computer (mobile devices are not recommended). Learn more about TeleFOCUS: https://focusproject.org/telefocus.

Please contact our office 253-966-6390 for more information or to set up your appointment!

July Tip of the Month from FOCUS (Families Over Coming Under Stress):

July is America’s Birthday month!  A time for firecrackers, celebrations, longer summer days, family gatherings and spreading wings for new adventures.  We all love spending time with those who are special to us, but sometimes it can also highlight areas of conflict or stress.  The FOCUS program teaches families and couples how to show respect and have positive interactions with one another.  We practice effective communication by using “I” statements and identifying “hot” topics that cause us to “lose our cool”.  FOCUS offers tools to help regulate those “hot” emotions and improve communication skills.  Stay Cool!  Call FOCUS today, for more information. Don’t just get by, get stronger!
