December Tip of the Month from FOCUS (Families Over Coming Under Stress):
December is the last month of the year, and sometimes the busiest! Families and couples are preparing for holidays, vacation, travel, and the new year. Sometimes family members are apart from each other, while others are making plans to be together. December can be a wonderful month to celebrate, it can also be a lot to manage, and can be overwhelming or emotional if we don’t have the tools and skills to remain strong. Sometimes just closing your eyes for 30 seconds and taking some deep breaths can be a good way to let go of the stress and feel the joy. Come in to the FOCUS program with your family or as a couple to strengthen your ways of taking those deep breathes and remaining strong throughout the last part of the year!
